Adrian Grenier is a very popular American actor, musician and director known for his excellent performances on innumerous productions. His parents, John Dunbar and Karesse Grenier, met in a commune in 1970s and were never married. He grew up in Queens, New York living with his mother. Adrian has Apache Native American and European ancestry. He joined Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. He next enrolled in Bard College and studied drama there.

Adrian Grenier made debut of his acting career in the independent drama ‘Arresting Gena’ in 1997. In 1999, Adrian appeared in ‘Drive Me Crazy’. In the same year, he made appearance on Britney Spears’ music video ‘You Drive Me Crazy’ . His next appearance was on ‘Harvard Man’, James Toback’s 2001 production. He made his directorial debut in 2002 with ‘Shot in the Dark’, a documentary chronicling his years’ long search for his father.  In 2004, Grenier got a role on the HBO series ‘Entourage’ and in 2006 he took the role of Anne Hathaway’s boyfriend, Nate, on ‘The Devil Wears Prada’. In 2007, it came into news that he would be working on a documentary which would chronicle the relationships between celebrities and the media. His new show ‘Alter Eco’ was premiered on Planet Green on June 2, 2008.

Adrian is a musician and likes to play guitar, drums, French horn and piano etc. He is the leading singer with the band Kid Friendly and is a drummer in The Honey Brothers. It was 2005 when Adrian Grenier started dating Melissa Keller, a swimsuit model and their relation continued for two successive years. Later in August 2007, rumors of him dating Paris Hilton flew around. Both were seen and photographed at various clubs in New York City but Grenier afterward denied the possibility of any such relation. In 2008, he started dating Isabel Lucas, an actress but they soon broke up.

His other acting credits include ‘Arresting Gena’, Hurricane Streets, Fishes Outta Water, Celebrity, The Adventures of Sebastian Cole, Cecil b. Demented, Artificial Intelligence: AI, Love in the Time of Money, Hart’s War, Bringing Rain, Anything Else, Tony N’ Tina’s Wedding, A Perfect Fit, Across the Hall, Off Hour, Adventures of Power, Teenage Paparazzi, and Where Are Who Now, Freshening Up etc.

For his superb acting skills and brilliant performances on innumerous projects, Adrian Grenier has been nominated for several awards. In 2006 and 2007, he was nominated for Teen Choice Awards in the categories of TV- Choice Chemistry and Choice TV actor: Comedy respectively for his role on Entourage. In 2007, Adrian won New York International Independent Film and Video Festival as the Best Actor for his role on ‘Off Hour’. In 2007 & 2008, Adrian was nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards in the categories of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for his role on ‘Entourage’. In 2008, he won Vail Film Festival Award.

Role on ‘Entourage’

On ‘Entourage’,   Adrian Grenier portrays the character of Vincent Chase, a young  Hollywood film actor. He’s the main character of the series that grew up in Queens, New York along with his friends. His older brother is a not-so-popular Hollywood actor. Throughout the series run, Vince throws light on the way, he and his entourage ‘live the life’.  He loves his friends too much, they are like his family for him and he has a desire to share the financial and social spoils of his current stardom with them.      The character is named after the legendary Hollywood acting teacher, Vincent Chase and the story of character is derived from Mark Wahlberg’s, Executive Producer of Entourage, and personal experiences. Adrian’s role on ‘Entourage’ is among the very best appearances of his acting career.
